New project! Looking for input.

2005 Ford Mustang GT, Shaker 1000 system.

Four stages:

1) HU
2) Frontstage
2a) DSP
3) LFE

For my HU, I am looking at the Kenwood DNX995S. I want CarPlay, Nav, and the screen on this unit sold me on it. Absolutely gorgeous.

For frontstage, I would like to do a 3-way setup.

Looking at getting another set of Hertz HSK165.4's, and adding 8" Hertz mid bass woofers in the doors as well. I had the 165's in a prior vehicle, and greatly enjoyed them.

What amplifier(s) should I get for this. Goal is great SQ, but nothing that will break the bank...a good in between, if possible. Open to a 6 channel amp, or 2 4 channels, one for the 2-ways, and one bridged for the 8" mid bass woofers. Suggestions?

DSP and sub will be last, and I won't be focusing on that now. Probably go ID for the sub bass, as I have a local authorized dealer for them, and I have always seen ID on this forum as a well regarded SQL subwoofer.

Input welcomed! I will be updating this as I go along with the project.

Best~
Matt

Looks good to me. I'd say you might want to consider a 3-4" comp set since you'll be adding an 8" midbass driver.
